i see that southend have now cancelled the pre-contract agreement with him,as he wants too much money,and the cobblers fans have found out he was on 180000 per year and glad he has gone,due to his high wages.So at present he still hasnt got a club,which with his demands is hardly surprising

£180,000 a year - christ that's a good wage, why would he move?

greed? i dont know,but at present no offers forthcoming,northampton may well miss his physical presence,but bet the bank manager is a lot happier
There's still a strong possibility that Southend United could be wound-up in the High Court on Aug 2nd (and then again on 11th Aug!), although with chairman Ron Martin appointed to the Football League board recently I wouldn't have thought that would prevent them from having a good season.
